Transitional Kindergarten Teacher
I am grateful to have the opportunity to return to Good Samaritan this year as a Pre-K teacher. I first started at the Day School in 2005 teaching the fours and Transitional Kindergarten. I left in 2010 to teach Kindergarten in Haverford at a school designed to assist children with speech and language differences. I am a proud Spartan, having graduated from Michigan State University. I went on to graduate school to study Special Education at Rowan University. The love of learning and pure joy exhibited by children continues to amaze, amuse, and motivate me. Outside of school I enjoy reading, gardening, hiking, and exploring new trails with my dog, Sparty. I especially enjoy travel and family time with my husband, Chris, and daughter, Emily. We are very active in our church and community, having done mission trips and work across the country. I am looking forward to many wonderful adventures with my Good Sam friends!
