Library Teacher
I graduated from Penn State University with a BS in Elementary Education and a minor in Special Education. In addition, I received my Masters Degree from The University of Scranton in Curriculum and Instruction. I taught first grade for two years in Pennsylvania before moving to Charlotte, North Carolina. I taught first and second grade for five years at Matthews Elementary School. While living in Charlotte, we also welcomed our fur baby, Nittany, into our family. My husband and I decided to move back to Pennsylvania right before our first daughter, Callie, was born. Since then we have also had another daughter, Aubrey, and a son Cole.
Throughout my teaching, reading has always been a passion. I have found such joy in teaching children how to read and I am so excited to be able to instill a love of reading in our students here at Good Sam!
