Become a Member
Fr Ellsworth often says that The Church of the Good Samaritan is a community “loose around the edges and solid at the core.” Inasmuch as that’s true, Good Sam is growing, vibrant, and active. YOU are a big reason why!
Whether you’ve been here three weeks, three months, or three years, we’d love for you to come closer to “the core.” In other words, become an official member of the church.
What does being a member mean? It means being part of the Body of Christ. As St Paul writes, “For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ” (1 Cor 12. 12).
To make membership easy and meaningful for you, here are three simple steps:
- Attend Good Sam 101 “class” on Sunday May 4 at 4 pm. This is a chance to connect, ask questions, and learn about the church’s past, present, and future. Includes refreshments and a full campus tour. Can’t make it? We’ll be scheduling additional sessions.
- Complete the New Member form linked below. Please print, sign, and return the signed form to the church office.
- Attend to a New Member Celebration Sunday. Sunday May 18 or Sunday September 7. New Members will be welcomed and honored at all three services.
