InSight Women’s Ministry encourages women to grow in Jesus, build meaningful relationships, and use their gifts in service to the Good Sam community. We welcome women of all ages and stages of life and invite you to get involved.
Growing in Jesus
Bible Study
Bible Study meets for ten-week sessions in the fall and winter/spring to study Scripture together. We gather weekly for teaching, worship, small-group discussion, and prayer. We are an intergenerational group of women from all walks of life seeking to grow in faith together. Women meet in person on Thursday mornings and on Zoom on Tuesday evenings.
Spiritual Practice
Throughout the year, we offer opportunities to learn and practice ancient spiritual disciplines such as Sabbath, fasting, solitude, Scripture, service, and contemplative prayer.
Other Events
InSight Women's Ministry hosts annual Quiet Mornings during Advent and Lent to create space for Scripture, prayer, music, art, and reflection. We also occasionally host speaker events and workshops in partnership with Men’s Ministry and other groups.
Building Community
Come Together
InSight Women's Ministry's signature fall event, Come Together, welcomes women of all ages for breakfast, worship, conversation, and an inspiring speaker. It introduces the year’s theme, events, and leadership team while providing opportunities to meet new people and strengthen existing friendships.
Social Gatherings
Throughout the year InSight Women's Ministry hosts gatherings such as dinners, bonfires, walks, movie nights, book discussions, and other opportunities to connect. We welcome creative ideas for future events
Retreating Together
Every spring InSight Women's Ministry offers the women of our community an opportunity for retreat. We alternate between the on-campus Staycation and an off-campus retreat within a two-hour drive from Paoli.
Staycation
Staycation is an on-campus retreat featuring talks, meals, and workshops ranging from spiritual growth to creative and practical skills. Designed for both those who know Jesus and those who don’t know what they think about Christianity. Staycation offers a welcoming and refreshing day together.
Off-Site Retreat
Our off-site retreat focuses on deeper spiritual growth through teaching, worship, prayer, reflection, small-group discussion, and time together.
